Rena - Toronto ARCT, RCM Piano Teacher and Piano Accompanist


Hi and welcome to my music teaching website. My name is Rena. I am a professional theory and piano teacher with a RCM performance certificate and an honored degree in music at McMaster University. I have been teaching music for more than 10 years. I have taught in many music schools including YAMAHA Music School, Walter's Yamaha Music, Yip music school, Unison Music school and Arcadia Academy of Music. I have students in Toronto and surrounding GTA areas such as Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, North York, and more.

I teach classical piano for all levels in RCM certificate programs and all RCM theory courses, as well as pop music (keyboard).  The music lessons include piano practical, preparation for RCM exams, music theory, music history and more. My teaching style focus on both technique and musical style, with emphasis on enjoyment of playing music as well as readiness for RCM certificates. I always make sure that students progress fast and able to enjoy learning music at the same time.

Higher quality music education doesn't have to be expensive. I charge a very reasonable rate to my students. I have many students who have received highest marks in RCM exams, and some of them took music as major for their university education. I always make sure my students practice in the right method and truly understand the materials.
